Manuscript Templates

RIIS – Revista de Investigação & Inovação em Saúde provides an official manuscript template to support authors in the preparation and organisation of their submissions.

Manuscripts must be prepared using this document and must comply with the structure, formatting, and mandatory elements established by the journal.

The template includes:

• the title in Portuguese, English, and Spanish;
• the abstract in Portuguese, English, and Spanish;
• keywords in all three languages;
• the structure of the manuscript;
• final declarations;
• the reference list;
• general presentation and formatting requirements.

The file must be completed in an editable Microsoft Word format and remain editable throughout the submission and editorial review process.

Before submitting the manuscript, authors must confirm that:

• names, affiliations, and other identifying information have been removed from the file submitted for peer review;
• all applicable sections have been completed;
• the manuscript complies with the Author Guidelines;
• references follow APA, 7th edition;
• metadata are available in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Use of the templates does not replace the need to consult the Author Guidelines, Submission Requirements, and RIIS editorial policies.
